If you still don't want to install that, you can just use youtube-dl (it downloads from many sites, not just youtube) and ffmpeg to merge the audio and video yourself (they are CLI programs, so they don't have a visual interface, all is done through the terminal, so you will have to learn a bit about how they work to use them), but those are external programs. You can either make your own transparent watermark PNG file, or you can PM me and I can send you one. It also requires an app (like most decent video downloader extensions as already stated), but it appears on the installed applications menu (on windows at least), so it should be easy to uninstall if you don't like it later. With that said, Video downloadhelper went freemium now, and you'd need to pay for some of the DASH video downloads (streaming), so you might want to try something like Ant Video Downloader, which recognizes same as many as video download helper as well as streaming sites. Note this may require updating the Windows converter. These apps would have ffmpeg and youtube-dl embedded in them to merge the fragments of the stream that the webextension counterpart would send them.
